Apis mellifica

Apis is traditionally associated with sudden swelling, redness, heat, and stinging or burning pains. It is commonly used for allergic-type reactions, insect bites and stings, hives, sore throats, and inflammatory conditions where tissues appear puffy or oedematous. Symptoms often feel worse with heat and better from cold applications.
